85% students will be coming from the Common Entrance Test of UP Technical University. Rest, 15% will be Management seats to be filled from the students who score minimum 50% in graduation (10+2+3) or student must have qualify in Common Entrance exam of UP Technical University.

All the aspiring applicants need to be graduate (10+2+3) from a recognized university and as per UPTU Norms.
For admission in Direct/Management seats applicants may be graduate (10+2+3) from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks for general candidates & 45% marks for SC/ST candidates or student must have qualify in Common Entrance exam of UP Technical University.

SELECTION PROCESS FOR DIRECT / MANAGEMENT QUOTA
Step – 1
Good scorer / rank holders of SEE-UPTU will be given preference into the merit list. Other measures will also be taken into consideration while calculating the merit list for admission:

The applicants short listed will be called for group discussion and personal interview. The dates will be intimated to short listed students.
Step – 3
The candidate, if selected will be given selection letter. The selected candidate must pay the registration amount within 10 days, failing which the offer will be withdrawn.
