    Notification regarding Prevention of Ragging

This is to bring to your notice that the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and Government of India have totally banned ragging in the educational institutions.  Serious action will be taken against students found indulging in any act of ragging, as per the orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court.

As per the latest policy all students and parent/guardians are required to submit an affidavit before a student is allowed registration in the University/institute. The format of Affidavits can be download from below given links and to be submitted on a Non-Judicial stamp paper of Rs.10/- duly attested by the oath commissioner/Notary.

All parents/guardian/students may download the same and get them duly attested by the Oath commissioner/Notary and bring it on the day of student’s registration. Kindly note that there are two Affidavits as Annexure-I & II. The Annexure-I is to be signed by the student and Annexure-II shall be signed by the parent / guardian.

In case a student does not submit the same he/she shall not be allowed to proceed with the registration.

Today, the ragging has become synonym with teasing, terror, harassment, cruelty, fear and physical and mental torture and abuse of human rights of fresher which are resulting in numerous unavoidable deaths, suicides, group clashes/conflicts and large number of fresher dropouts. Some of the punishments for students directly or indirectly involved in the ragging and its abetment are given as under:-
