Minimum 75% attendance is compulsory in every semester for appearing examination. |

The students will not be allowed to go on leave, unless there is an extreme necessity and acceptable reasons. Under special circumstances, a few days leave can be allowed but no benefit of leave will be given in the counting of attendance or for any other purpose related to examination or evaluation process. |

Every student is required to attend all the lectures, tutorials and other prescribed curricular and co-curricular activities. The attendance can be condoned upto 25% on medical grounds or for other genuine reasons beyond the control of students. |

A further relaxation of attendance upto 15% for a student can be given by the Head of the Institution/College provided that he/she has been absent with prior permission of the Head of the Institution/College for the reasons acceptable to him. |

No student will be allowed to appear in the Semester Examination if he/she does not satisfy the overall average attendance requirements of Clause 1 to 4. |
| 6 |
The attendance shall be counted from the date of admission in the Institute or start of academic session whichever is later. |
